Frequently Asked Questions

1. When will I receive my photos?

Your images are carefully edited with great attention to detail. Final galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks, beautifully presented in an online collection for you to enjoy and share.

2. How many pictures will we receive?

Each session is about creating a meaningful set of images rather than overwhelming you with quantity. You can expect a thoughtfully curated selection of 30+ images for a 45 minute session and 50+ for a 60 minute session, those are minimum numbers. Each of my images are chosen to reflect the best moments from our time together.

3. We don’t know how to pose in front of the camera.

That’s completely okay, it’s my job to guide you. I’ll gently direct you in a way that feels natural and effortless so you can simply enjoy the experience while I capture photographs that feel genuine and timeless.

4. What happens if we need to reschedule or cancel??

I understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule, I ask for at least 3 days’ notice, and I’ll do my best to accommodate a new date. Please note that retainers are non-refundable, as they secure your dedicated session time.

5. What should we wear for our session?

Wardrobe is now part of the experience. All clients receive my style guides, complete with direct links to outfits that photograph beautifully and complement my editing style. If you’d like more personalized help, you also have the option to work directly with my stylist (for an additional fee). She’ll help you choose outfits that fit your budget, feel comfortable, and bring out the best in your session, so your final images feel effortless, timeless, and stunning.

6. Where will our photos be taken?

We’ll decide on a location that fits your vision, whether that’s the comfort of your home, a favorite spot in town, or somewhere outdoors with great natural light. I’m happy to recommend places that fit the look and feel you’re going for.

7. What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

If the forecast isn’t in our favor, we’ll adjust. Sometimes that means moving to a covered or indoor space, and other times it’s best to reschedule. Either way, I’ll make sure the final photos have the feel you’re hoping for.

8. Do you retouch the photos?

Every image you receive will be carefully edited to reflect my style,  true-to-life, flattering, and timeless. I don’t believe in heavy retouching, but I do make sure each photo looks polished and natural.
